Enemies are any NPC’s that you can battle in the game. They range from lvl 1 wolves to very powerful men/creatures. At the time of this guide was first created the highest level is approximately 24.
Enemies are spread out fairly evenly throughout the map but there are areas where stronger enemies gather. Something different about this game is that not everyone see’s the same enemies. Each person see’s their own range of enemies with the exception being “leaders” which are designated with a star beside their names. All players can see these leaders and players can battle them together.
As you progress in levels, you will see different enemies on the map. Once an area where there were only wolves, may have rhino’s and no wolves as your level increases.
Item Drops – Once killed enemies will drop a trophy or coins. Trophy’s can be bones, furs, skins, meats, armor, weapons, amulets or coins. At this time, only dwarves drop equipment and all others will drop either bones, fur, skins or coins.
Experience Points – This is a tricky one. As you increase your combat level the experience you get for an specific level enemy changes….. Weird I know….
For example: If you are lvl 5 and you fight a lvl 5 enemy with 100hp you will receive 100exp. If you are lvl 6 and you fight the same lvl 5 enemy with 100hp, you will receive 25% less exp, giving you 75xp instead of the 100 you got when you were the same level.
Each level difference between you and the enemy increases or decreases the exp given by 25%.
Another example: If you are lvl 5 and you kill a lvl 6 enemy with 100hp, you receive 125xp.
I’m not a big fan of this system yet. Once you get so many levels above a enemy, you no longer receive exp for killing that enemy. The enemy will also stop dropping items after the kill (no coins, meat, bones, skins or items for your hard work).
